Returning to Online-worship
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: IN PERSON WORSHIP RETURNS OCTOBER 4, 2020
Dear St. Timothy’s ‘Ohana, The Mayor’s most recent Emergency Order permits "spiritual worship" services under the new "Tier" system. We are allowed to occupy our sanctuary at 50% of its capacity. We must consider how best the church should care and witness for its members and the community at large and will therefore continue with two (2) worship services at 8AM and 10AM. OUR ONLINE WORSHIP SERVICE WILL MOVE TO A NEW TIME: 8:00 AM SUNDAY How long will this last? I am not sure. Under the Mayor's current system there needs to be a 4-week average of lower positive COVID results before moving to the next least restrictive tier. It is possible if there is a rise in cases, we could go back to online only services. Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy in this time of uncertainty and distress. Sustain and support the anxious and fearful, and lift up all who are brought low; that we may rejoice in your comfort knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. Additional Links: Mayor's Emergency Order Guidance Mayor’s Emergency Order 2020-27 |
