Continuing your spiritual journey in the Episcopal Church:
|
Continuing the journey of faith as part of a supportive community is essential. Here is the difference between the three:
Confirmation is laying on of hands by an Episcopal bishop in order to confirm, as an adult, the promises others made for you at your baptism, or to confirm your desire to be a member of The Episcopal Church. Reception occurs if you have previously been confirmed in the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, or ELCA Lutheran churches, and now wish to become a member of The Episcopal Church. Reaffirmation occurs if you were previously confirmed as an Episcopalian, but now would like to reaffirm those vows. If you have more questions about any of the above, please contact the Church office 808-488-5747 |
