Children’s Sunday School is held in Sumida Hall, directly across the courtyard from the church. Preschool and elementary-age children are invited to participate. The children open class with a prayer and read stories from the children’s Bible. They learn about the life and ministry of Jesus and lessons from the Old and New Testament. To help the children connect with the Bible stories, lessons are supplemented with fun, kid-friendly activity sheets and a take-home Family Page from the Spark Activate Faith curriculum. Our teacher leaders are Safe Church trained. We welcome and encourage anyone interested in working with young children and assisting with our Sunday School ministry to contact the church office.
Adult Formation classes: The Order of the Daughters of the King offers a book or subject study once a month after the Sunday morning service that is open to everyone. Other study groups or classes will be announced.
St. Timothy’s offers a weekly Bible study on Zoom on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. Led by David Caldwell, the sessions review and discuss the lectionary texts for the upcoming Sunday. To join, go to zoom.us/join and enter meeting I.D. 285 581 782.
